Who's the Most Bristol? is run by Brand West. There are no accounts. We use one cookie to keep your game on your device, and nothing that tracks you around the web.

What we store

The cookie, mb_player, holds a random code that lasts about 13 months and gives each device its one go a day. We store a scrambled version of that code. Next to it we keep your answers, score, streak, your leagues, your challenge links and the name and area you picked from our lists.

To limit cheating, we also count new games per internet connection each day. For this your network address is scrambled using a secret key and that day's date. We never store the address, and we delete these counts the next day.

We keep this because you are playing the game you came here to play (legitimate interests). It stays for as long as the game runs, unless you ask us to remove it.

If you add your email

Adding your email is optional. We use it to confirm it's yours, to send sign-in links so you can get your score back, and to send the 6pm reminder if you ticked that box (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time). We keep your address until you remove it, and we keep sign-in links for up to a week after they expire. We stop reminders if you haven't played for two weeks.

We don't send marketing, share your address or show it on any table. Cloudflare sends our emails. You must be 13 or over to add an email.

To remove your address, press "Remove my email" under your result, or email us. Every reminder has a link to stop them.

What the public can see

The tables show only the name and area you picked, and your points. Nothing shows until you claim a name. Anyone with a mate league's invite link or your challenge link can see what's on it.

Visitor counts

We count visits, page views and link taps using our own Brand West Stats service and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Neither sets cookies or stores anything on your device. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes network addresses to deliver it.

Your rights

To have your record removed, or to ask what we hold, email info@brandwest.co.uk and tell us your name on the table. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
